Summer MUST DO's!

The Sail 4 Cancer team all know how great it is to get out on the water at events, enjoying the company of friends and crew! So here are some events that we recommend you check out!

All we ask is that you take care this summer and take the correct precaution needed from the Sun...

23rd June - Round the Island Race
This is a must for any active person! Sailing round the Isle of Wight with over 1500 over yachts; it's a bit like the M25 circular but on water! This year crews are encouraged to raise funds for cancer charities so why not get on a boat and choose Sail 4 Cancer and brand up your boat! If being on the water make you a little green, then hit the Needles or Hurst Castle for the best views.

4th August - 11th August - Skandia Cowes Week
The Solent comes alive with the sight of nearly 1,000 yachts so hitch a ride as crew or enjoy the view from Cowes Green! It really is the regatta of the summer...

20th September - Southport 24 Hour Race
This is a great event, with around half of it involving sailing in the dark - keeping you safe from the sun. Get a team, get sponsored and raise funds for Sail 4 Cancer and see if you can survive 24 hours in a dinghy!

Fat Face Night Series
Surfing, wakeboarding, mountain biking, mountain boarding and windsurfing... all in the dark! The Fat Face Night Series events run throughout the summer and are a must for all you adrenaline junkies. We LOVE ’em as they will Keep YOU in the Dark!!! Visit www.fatface.com/events for more information on these events.

MOLE WATCH DAY
Don't forget to keep an eye out for our Mole Watch Day at Southampton Boat Show - we will give you the chance to get your skin checked out by experts! We will keep you updated! So keep coming back.

August Bank Holiday - Dartmouth Royal Regatta
Shh! We will let you into a secret! This is a great regatta and the perfect way to end the summer... The River Dart comes alive with coracle and rowing races, the Red Arrows and fantastic fireworks! So make your way down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the west country!!

June 8th - 10th - Isle of Wight Festival
Here at Sail 4 Cancer we like our music and the Isle of Wight festival is a great weekend away! You can't miss the Rolling Stones the legends of rock! So get on the ferry and hop across to the Island of Wight - whilst you are out on the water keep an eye out for Sail 4 Cancer boats. I promise you there will be some out there!
